Write to dmax.dev@gmail.com. Mention your iPhone model and iOS version. If a capture went wrong, the capture log at the bottom of the project screen helps.
Questions
Why did capture pause?
iOS turns the camera off when the phone locks or another app comes to the front. Keep Tickframe open: it keeps the screen awake and dims it during long captures. Capture picks up again when you come back. For captures longer than half an hour, plug the phone in.
How long can I record?
The FREE line on the capture screen shows the free space as hours of capture at the current interval. Capture stops by itself when less than 500 MB is left.
Where are my frames?
In the Files app: On My iPhone › Tickframe › Projects. Each project is a folder of HEIC frames. You can also share the frames or save them to Photos from the ⋯ menu of a project.
My time-lapse flickers
Auto exposure changes brightness from frame to frame. Lock the exposure in the EXP panel before you start, or use manual exposure (Pro). For a clip you already shot, turn on Deflicker on the project screen.
How do I make a video from photos I already have?
Tap From Photos in the library and pick the photos. They are sorted by the time they were taken.
How do I delete a project?
Swipe left on it in the library, or open it and choose Delete Project from the ⋯ menu.
What does Pro include?
Manual ISO and shutter speed, and starting a capture at a clock time. It is one purchase with no subscription, and it works with Family Sharing. Everything else, including 4K export, is free and has no watermark.
I bought Pro, but the app asks again
Tap Pro in the library, then Restore Purchase. Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account that bought it. Once restored, Pro works offline.
